Hidden folders + file dimensions

19 Sep 2009, 16:50

Hi Karl, Hi Nick.

1) If you flag as "hidden" a folder (suppose you are working on its content) and you delete an image archived into that folder, the "hide" attribute is lost and the folder becomes visible to everybody.

2) The upload mechanism doesn't work with big files ("file too big" message). In case of image files I can understand the reason (and I agree), but I am trying to load some mp3s files (4-5 MB each) and I was obliged to use the classic ftp approach. The size limit should be (IMO) dependent on the file type.

Regards,
Marco

I think nick will have to look into your #1, but for #2 I can tell you it isn ´t Imagevue creating the upload limit, it is your web host. Most likely it is set to 2MB on your server, but this varies depending on the host.

Hmm not sure how to reproduce it, I have this hidden folder, uploaded an image there, deleted it, and nothing happened to the folder.

Could you please advise how to reproduce this bug?
Also logins to your site would be useful too.
