i find, that it's much more comfortable for the eyes sliding the images, rather than fade-out and fade back in. besides you can browse the whole gallery much quicker if the images slides and you don't miss detail-information like browsing the gallery in thumbnail-preview.

what do you think about it? it's just my humble opinion .

We're planning to release some additional galleries with different layouts including similar to one you just mentioned. Unfortunately I can't name any dates right now.

Yes, its no secret we were planning a separate module like that. As Nick says though, I cant give you an exact timeline.

by the way, did you implement the password-protection feature yet, or did you postpone it?
