How would I cause SWF address to return a parameter on its created URL that would be unique for a specific image?

I'm running the Imagevue flash object within a Joomla component and the entire Joomla paradigm of integration/interoperation between components, is the idea of a unique identifier on the URL designating each item (in this case picture).

ie. ?id=5

Actually it wouldn't have to be on the url, it could be a php variable (just thought a url is more straight forward). I just need to be able to access it via php.

Maybe it would be easier if you describe what you want to achieve in general. We are thinking about some joomla and wordpress integration plugins in future though.

Specifically what I'm trying to accomplish is to 'attach' joomla modules (functionality), like comments and ratings (and such), to individual pictures.

Because the whole Joomla paradigm is to have an 'id=' or 'gid=' within the url, which represents the finest level of detail for a particular display, interconnection of components within the joomla environment depend upon one component being able to reference the other component's finest level of detail (in this case a single image), by referencing this id or gid.

You can use Buy button which allows you to add custom link to images I think.
