Hi @ all..
First of all: My English isn't well, so I'm sorry, if these problems are already discuss in this forum..

I have some problems/errors with the X2 Gallery:

1. Apache modules > mod_security: The message in the admin-center:
With enabled 'mod_security' apache module you will be unavailable to use some functions in admin panel
Now I did make a .htaccess with the following content: SecFilterEngine Off, but nothing happened. The error message is still there.

2. Common things test > open basedir: My hosting-provider disabled open basedir in the php settings, but the error message is still there.

3. Image Upload (SWF/Java): Now, after these steps on top, the image upload works fine, before I had an error 406 (SWF) and an other error in Java.

4. I have big cache problems. When I delete a picture, it stay still in the image-list, also when I clear the cache (over the admin-center). Then, when I delete the temporary internet files (of browser) and reload the page, the picture disappear. Is this normal?

Thank you for your help in advance, and sorry for my English!
Markus

Strange that warnings did not dissapear but if you say upload works now, then I guess it's fine, just don't mind them. Although would be interesting to check it on your site, could you post a link or something?

I believe so, especially if you're on Internet Explorer, it caches xml files being received thru flash and images much harder than Firefox. Try Ctrl-F5 for IE and Ctrl-Shift-R for Firefox next time. If nothing helps - then clear cache, nothing bad about it.

Hi pain...
Do you have any news? I sent you my login and password by private message. I have noticed that the upload don't really works. If I upload multiple images, the upload abort after 3 or 4 pictures - without any error message. Can anyone eyplain that?!

Otherwise, where I can get the promised support?
Full support is given and the only restriction is that the link on the [?] icon may not be removed or changed.
Thank you for any reply!

EDIT: I'm sorry, I did find the support-button this moment and I try to do a mail - maybe I get help.. :)

Ofcourse, see Nick below? Thats my name. Hehe :)

You still have open_basedir enabled on server and mod_security too. You gotta nag your hosting support to disable it, we're checking what we can do from our side meanwhile.

UP:
After changing uploader from YUI Uploader to SWFUpload looks like uploading works fine. Check testfolder.
