Hello,

I just tried to install Imagevue X2 but it will not work. When I try to get into the admin section with the admin/admin I get:

A PHP Error was encountered

Severity: User Error

Message: An error "syntax error" occured while parse file /content/pictures3/folderdata.xml at line 1, character 1

What might be wrong? I ´m a total rookie in these things.

Hello again,

I have also a HTML link problem. When I add "?p=html" or "index.php?p=html" to enter the HTML site, I become the same PHP error as when I try to get the admin access. If you like to have a look, my site is www.volker-rost.de/Portfolio.

Well /content/folderdata.xml looks very strange:

drwxr-xr-x 6 ftp ftp 4096 Aug 1 20:59 ..
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<folder title="Pictures 3" previewimage="flowergirl.jpg" d

This first line should not be there. How it got there anyway? Delete either erroneous file or first line.

thank you for your quick response and the solution of my problem. I delated the file and imagevue runs.
