Hi I have been reviewing scripts since last week. Imagevuex is the one i want.

I just have some questions (I am sorry if they are obvious but i looked at so many apps I cant remember all the features and setups)

I want to buy Imagevue Private Licence but have some questions.

Setup:
Is there a database backend?
Is there a check script before install to see if my server supports it all.
Does it self install like wordpress or joomla by running a setup script?

Gallery creation
Can I create galleries and later add another gallery without recreating all the other galleries?
Is gallery management supported through ftp or web UI?
Can I reassign photos to another gallery.

Picture upload
How many pictures can i upload at once?
what is the max size per pic or total mb.
can i upload zip files of photos.
I want to use thubnails. Do I have to make them manually or does it have an thumbnail script?
Can I go back and later add more photos into the gallery?

No, Imagevue runs without database, relying on xml files on disk

Generally speaking, you upload and it just works, you just have to chmod some directories to make them writable for php.

Yes yes and yes, you can use either UI or your ftp client, that's up to you.

Thumbnails are created automatically, you can upload images using ftp or UI. There is no limit on upload amount but .zip is not supported.

For thumbnails there is max image dimensions Imagevue is able to process, depending on your server memory limit. On common server setups its usually set high enough to process images that fit most screens.

excellent. will buy tomorrow. showed a friend and he wants one too. One problem, been trying to login to x2 demo prior to asking those questions but login is not working.
