I believe you're either added too much pictures/folders so it gets little bit hard to process everything, or if you didnt do anything - means you're on shared hosting and somebody else's site is sucking cpu/hd power from server.

Have a link?

Of course, there are combinations which may cause Imagevue to run slowly, normally when loading the main menu(which fortunately only occurs once). This may often be a combination of one or more of the following: slow server, server shared with too many, time of day(traffic), "too many" folders.

Perhaps you have a link, so we can take a look at exactly how slow it is?

We are aware of this potential issue with not-so-fast servers, and we are constantly considering methods to speed it up.

I've got the same problem. Imagevue V2 Admin and Flash-gallery runs bizarre slowly now. When i started with a fresh install 2 weeks ago, the admin and gallery where very faster.
And the strange thing is, there are just a few images, so the amount of directories or files can not be the cause of a slow server.
On this server i have run just 1 other php-script, but this is inactive, because nobody is working in it right now.

Can you take a look at this site?

Gallery: http://media.sessibon.nl/media/
Admin: http://media.sessibon.nl/media/imagevue/

Hope you can tell me what is the solution.

Thanks!

I just discovered that when i delete my 18 FLV movies (total 800 Mb), the site is fast again.

Why does Imagevue V2 parse true all flv-files?

If you like i put back my movies for testing, let me know? Now the flv's are moved out of the content directory.
