Custom Background Image (Cross-browser/monitor compatibility

Hey everyone!

I'm using a custom background image on the website I've been working on. (http://www.carol-dines.com) As you can see (I hope), the text "Carol Dines" appears in the upper right corner. I designed this image on a laptop working at 1400x900 resolution, and it looks perfect in firefox/safari for me.

HOWEVER, I have already been told that the name is being cut off for other users using different resolutions/browsers.

Is there any way to create a background image (either in Flash or Photoshop) that will work universally, in other words, so that EVERYONE regardless of resolution and stuff can see it normally?

I noticed this when I checked your gallery in your other post.

Your background is very nice, but keep in mind you have set it to be MIDDLE aligned. Since you have a NAME/LOGO placed in the TOP-RIGHT corner of your background-image, you need to align the image to TOP-RIGHT of the screen. This way, it will always align the image to top right of the screen, and the name will always be visible. Just make the required top right margin for your text on the background.
