I have a gallery folder called Models:
In this folder i have all my modelshoots. I want the gallerys to be sorted be date desc. So i get the newest galleries first.
This way it is easy to see what is new on my site.

But the gallery folder with the latest creation date is showed in the bottom of the menu. But when i make a new gallery folder it should be on top in the menu

In any case, if the sorting is reverted, just switch between ascending and descending and one of them should be the one you want!

I still have the problem. My page is www.familienmoller.dk
And my problem is that the Models gallery is alphabetic sorted even though i have chosen Date Desc as sorting options under the Models folder

Keep in mind, if you are going to use folder-specific sorting, you have to set it to each specific folder you want to change from the default sorting method. You can ´t just set it to "Model billeder" folder. Perhaps you can provide me log in to your admin so I can take a look around?

I checked your gallery after you provided me with admin login. As I said in my previous post, you have to set your specific folder sorting options for eavh of the folders with images that you want to sort differently than the default sorting method.

As it is now, you have set "DD" date descending to "model billeder", but that folder has no images inside it. It does have other folders, but if you want separate sorting for those folders, you have to set it explicitly for those folders also, else they will just inherit the default sorting method.

Thanks for looking at it, but i think you missunderstand me.

I want the folders in the "Model billeder" to be sorted by the latest folder first.
I thought that was what the folder sorting option ment.
But it seems it only works on pictures.

Yes, the folder-specific sorting only affects images. To sort your folders manually, you will have to number the physical folder names(This will not have any effect on titles, so they will look the same from menu).

In a future release, we are hoping to have custom sorting of folders directly from the admin.
