Hi;
Can i disable the curtain effect in the home photo?

I dont find this option;

You mean filemod photoblinds on default startpage? Just to go Startpage in Imagevue Admin > Manage and you will see some options at the right.

Or you can disable landing page completely in Config > Settings > Startpath
