Hi mjau-mjau,

imagevuex is a really great project! I looking forward to purchase the X2 version. I'm a german based graphic-artist and photograph, looking for a way to present my works. I've two questions and two feature request.

Image scaling
I want to present all images in a pre-fullscreen view. I don't mean the real fullscreen feature that scales the image to the full size of the visitors screen, just the full-space inside the browser-window. Is it possible to set this as a basic value, so that the visitor see every image in full-resolution depends on the photos width?

In case of ... can I assign it just to pictures and not to videos for example?

In case of ... the position of the pre and next buttons located near by the left and right border of a image are changeable? I tested it with a zoomed image and unfortunately the buttons disappears. :(

I've attached a example so you better understand what i try to explain with my poor English . :wink:

Thumbed folder sub-levels
Is there a option to show a thumbed overview of all gallerys? Or a option to create more than just a one-level folder-gallery?
I want present the huge portfolio on a/one start page. So that the visitor have more than one choice to browse through groups compared to just using the left-sided navigation. For example: iPhoto or Aperture can do it and that is a much more better (visual) way to going through the whole portfolio (in my opinion).

Or another example of a X2 user and his Model Agency Andy Models Agency in this thread. Fortunately it is a really interesting hot content on his site. Of course I just browsed the female models content too :lol: but unfortunately it's very uncomfortable. Even more for possible (multi-tasking) clients/agents/scouts that do have no time for nothing (except of drinking coffee, right?) and need a fast way to catch up information or what ever. So, when the visitor can see all model-gallerys in a thumbed overview it will be better.

RSS-Feeds
I know it's a big request but for the most of us it's one of the most important (networking) features.

BlogVueX
Yeah. Sounds cool, right? This would be the ultimate feature :lol: And of course I would pay the extra bills for it.

Thanks!
Brian :wink:

Hi Brian,

Sorry for the late reply - We have been VERY busy on our new website!

Image scaling - You can already set the image to start in a full scaled mode by setting it in the config. It should work with pictures, and not videos. I thing the large navigation buttons disappear, so I will have to look into that ...

Thumbed folder sub-levels - This has been requested before, and we are thinking of adding an option for this! But I think there would have to be "folder" icons also, or do you want all imagefolders collapsed into a single layout?

RSS feeds is interesting ... Also some blog module, but that may be a little further down the list. Blogs in flash are highly inferior to html blogs ...

Hi mjau-mjau,

no problem. Thanks for you reply.

Thumbed Folder / Sub-Levels: Right, something like that. First the visitor see a overview of all gallerys that looks like the normal gallery view. If you click on one of the images (or folder like icons or the user chose a image) then the sub-gallery is opening. You will see all images contained in this sub-gallery. Atm you don't have a main overview. Just the navigation give you the possibility.

- Main-Overview
-> Sub-Gallery/s
--> Image/s
