possibility to download a few pictures at one time

Is there a possibility to offer download for a specific galery.
It's circumstantial to download every picture indivitually.

You mean download a gallery in a zip file? I think this has been suggested earlier ...

Yes that could be a possibility. Or a function "Download the whole galery" that copies all picture in a target folder.

Actually what are you gonna do with people clicking 'zip whole gallery' just for fun and hogging server with packing of thousands of pictures? Easier to update .zip files manually I think.
