how to update

I have looked for it without finding anything. I think you should prepare a tutorial or an HowTo for upgrading, avoiding to reconfigure and fine tuning everything.
Beside the folder "contents" and the eventually modified Style, what else must be copied when a new realase is installed ??
Thanks

Hmm, actually, just copy everything over, it won't overwrite your settings.
But ofcourse you are right, we will improve documentation on this.

This is something we worked out a few months ago. Any changes you make to config- and themes are saved separately in your imagevue/config/ folder. When upgrading, these files are kept in tact and will still apply.
For those who are interested in the technical details: Imagevue creates the config/theme by combining default config+theme+user changes. Your user changes will still apply after upgrading, while new settings might still apply from default config.

I believe the language files are overwrited on upgrade so make sure to back those up beforehand if you've made any changes.

You right, language files are edited directly.
