I'm very impressed with Imagevue, but there is one deal-breaker for me -- that's not being able to custom reorder your images on the fly (without having to tediously rename them w/ a sequencing prefix, etc.) This is an extremely important feature for someone like me who is constantly adding new material to his "highlights portfolio" gallery, etc. Every time I have a few new images from new work to add to my highlights reel (and probably remove a few old ones), I need to be able to just drag/drop them in place & be done. I can't go through & rename images in a file list, with no thumbs to represent placing, etc. -- it's simply too time-consuming and happens very often.

I saw in a previous post that 'hopefully' there would be something like that in the future -- any clue as to when...? I have to decide whether to wait it out for that release or do my site with another app...

Yes, it will be available in a release this spring ... we need to rebuild the admin to support ajax so user can drag their folders around as they like.

I can not give you an exact date, but it will be in either 2.1 or 2.2 coming within 2 months. Before that we will be releasing atleast one minor update 2.0.x.

Just wondering if this is currently a feature in version X2. I am in the process of setting up my website and many of my galleries have photos that are out of order. If it is currently a feature within the admin, I can't seem to find it anywhere! Could it be that I am getting some type of error that is causing this feature to be unavailable?? I do have two errors at the moment on the admin page.
1. suhosin module is installed on the server
2. php server is compiled without EXIF data support

This is really the only issue I have at the moment. I'm really impressed with Imagevuex. It rocks!

Only way you can sort your images, is if they are sroted by date, or by renaming them to be sorted by name.
