Problems with startpage abyss theme/horizontal menue

I would like to use the abyss theme with the horizontal menue. On a 22'' Screen it's perfect. If I use a smaller screen (e.g. 15'') the menue is too wide and overlapped by a upright photo (too see that effect probably you need to reload the startpage) and overlapping the audio button. All galleries are fitting themselfes perfect.

Is there a way to modify these settings?

See here (if using a small screen):

# I don't see how the menu is overlapping the menu. I resize my screen and there is correctly a static margin between the image and the top edge of stage. This would only happen if someone zooms in on photo.

# The horizontal menu simply builds horizontally, so you can't really control the length of it unless you want to remove item. You can try to reduce the "horizontal_textmargin" and perhaps reduce the font size ...

Nice photos!

Meanwhile, I found out how to change the settings by editing the template. But what i can't find is something to create some smaller photos for the starting screen/start folder. In any other folder the Images will become a smaller version on the screen, automatically.
Or do I need to upload some smaller versions of them?
In my case (depending on the resolution of the screen) the upright photos will go into the horizontal menue.

You should consider using smaller, and only horizontal images for the startpage. This is the FILEMOD which simply loads whatever you tell it to load. It doesn't impose any resizing properties ...
