Sorting/Ordering

I'm finding the image ordering system to be very restrictive. If there was a way to manually re-order photos after they are uploaded it would be extremely helpful. The current choices (sort by name, date, file size, dimensions) are not helpful. If I want to swap the order of two photos in a gallery, there is no way to do that without deleting the contents, renaming the files and uploading again. Ideally I like to see a drag and drop ordering system.
I noticed in another post you mentioned you are working on a custom ordering system. Any chance it will be drag and drop?

Yes, we hope to add some improved sorting functionality for images- and folder in a future release. Preferably it will be a dynamic interface with drag and drop ...

In the meantime, you can rename files to set the ordering you want. For example adding a numeral extension before the image name. "001_imagename", "002_imagename". Since you are using TITLES, the imagename will not display anyway ... Of course, this is very tedious and highly undesirable, but you don't have to delete files or re-upload them.

I guess by renaming the files on your hard disc and uploading them via ftp.

Kind regards,

You can change them directly on server. Just connect to FTP, right-click your files and choose "rename".
