How To... Modify Menu and Cyopright

Hello everyone,

how can I modify the MainMenu, such as sorting (i.e. first the folders with the pictures, then textpages etc) and editing the Style (other font, size etc). And how can I modify the Copyrightinfo and/or hide it from Right-Click Menu? And is there a filemod for getting back to the startpage again?

At least: The V2-Gallery is marvellous! I'm absoluty excited about them! Fantastic Work! Allthough I was used to change the V1-Appearance much faster than the V2... ;)

Thanks a lot,
Daniel

Lots of questions!

You can modify the main menu by going to admin -> config -> menu.mainmenu or go to the same setting in your THEME editor to change visual settings.

To change fonts/fontstyles for the main menu(and for any other text in the gallery), you need to edit your theme CSS stylesheet. You can do that from admin -> themes -> edit your theme -> edit theme stylesheet. More on editing stylesheets here:

To modify the copyrightinfo, please send me a PM with your orderID.

A filemod for getting back to the startpage? Do you want a link in your gallery or something? Why not just add a button "startpage" in your main menu(unless its already there). Your startpage much go to a certain folder, and by default that folder is already available as a button in your main menu(unless its hidden).

Hello Karl,

thanks for the answers! I do not really understand your answer on my question für "Get back to Startpage". I want a link in the Main Menu, which leads back to the start. In the Admin there is a checkbox "Startshow", but I see no difference either it is activted or not. Or do you mean something else? Actually I used a filemod "Link" to index.php to get back to the startpage...

Thanks again
Daniel

Perhaps it would help if I saw your gallery ... Your "startpage" is simply a folder ... is it not available to click in the main menu? If it's not, that's because it is set to "hidden" from the admin - simply "unhide" it ...
