How can I achieve different config setting for the various folders in the gallery? config setting such as the buttons controls or thumbnail size. I was able to do it easily in v1 and I am trying to upgrade my current gallery into x2.

Not quite sure what you mean ... We are working towards a way to use separate configs per gallery, just like you now can use separate themes per gallery.

However, having separate configs per folder is a little more demanding. I don't see how this was possible in any way in V1. You can already change a few settings per folder, like sorting, and we plan to add further specific settings - However, I don't think we are talking about changing entire 'configs' per folder.

In v2/X2, you can also create different thumbnail sizes per each folder(something that was not possible in V1). To do so, simply go to admin -> config and set your thumbnail preferences, then go to manage the folder and create the thumbnails. Repeat this action with different settings and to a different folder for another thumbnail size.

Is it possible to use manually created thumbnails are different sizes in each folder? I manually generated larger (150x150) thumbnails in one of my image folders and they now overlap each other. Is there another setting I need to change to use the larger thumbnails? If so, can this be set for each folder individually?

I fixed this by clearing the cache....
