email form doesn't work

I checked all settings in the admin menu, but it doesn't work. Using the slideshow symbols in the bottom it is working perfect.
Obviously, it is not a problem of my provider...
Is there anything else to configure instead of the email settings of the admin menu?
What do I need to set in the pre-configured contact form?

I made a setup with

-Use as Textpage
-<img src="contactform" /> in the content space.

Anything else to configure?

It's done....
I deleted the default text module and left the
<img src="contactform" />
command...it works.

Continued errors with email

I have a similar problem. I checked all settings in both the the config menu and the manage menu. I am using the same ones as used on imagvues sample.
I also checked here: https://www.photo.gallery/v2docs/articles/sendemail
but to no avail. I checked with my web provider and I have been able to use an email utility that forwarded my email with the previous version of the software for the past two year. Here is link showing the problem: http://alexbitar.com/alexbitar_x2/?p=ga ... /zcontact/

Has any one else run into this and is there a way to resolve this?

Please send your ftp info for investigation. Something with mail() function, it might not work at all on your host.

And for those having issues displaying <img src="contactform" /> - it should be written exaclty like this - 1 space between " and />

After contacting my web host, they were able to fix the issue. They added a file to the server {emailtest.php}. Thanks for your help.

We put it online, because it seems that email subsystem often left misconfigured on servers
