Hi all

Im trying to get my gallery so that i have a different backgroud image for each folder.

Ideally i would like to be able to choose a selection of images for each folder, though i would be happy with just being able to have one set image for eachfolder backgroud,

i suppose the only current option i can think of would be an flash show as a background, but again would like to have a seperate backgroud per folder if at all possible.

If anyone has any ideas, then please let me know,

We will consider an option to add a 'different' background per folder. We won't take it any further than this, because that would involve making an entire galleryish application only for the background.

i assume that currently there are currently no ways of setting an individual background for each folder then??

i do think this would be a great idea as currently i have a business interesrted in using the gallery but they do want seperate backgrounds for each folder.

Yes, it is not currently possible, but we will will most likely integrate this for a future release.

Hi,

i solved this "problem" using an own theme for every folder. The themes contain different background images and every single folder is called with parameters like this:

"/galery/index.php?c=gallery&language=german&theme=home#"

Well, if it was only that simple ... A theme is a whole stack of settings that require to be loaded before the gallery appears. I think it can be done, by using external links and reloading the gallery, like Bischi suggests.

Basically you can create menu items as links, which reload the gallery with a different theme appended...
