Can't set offset_x to '0' in 'text 1' parameter

'1' is ok but '0' is systematically reset to '8' after saving ...

looks like a small bug ... Will fix!
In the meantime, you could set it manually in the theme XML > First set it to something else than 8 or 0, then log in to FTP and edit the theme XML file in the config/themeName/ folder ...

Oddly enough this quick fix doesn't work for me. Regardless what it is in the config, it is still displayed as "3".

What is the link to your gallery? Its a bit tricky editing files manually, because there is default theme + theme + user theme that combine to create a theme config, last one overwriting the others.

Just to let you guys know, I'm experiencing the same problem with this setting:
Theme > Menu > MenuItem > Space
