I believer this is the case of partial upload.
Directory seem to be missing and I think this is the case of error.
My recommentations are:

1. Carefully re-upload everything
2. If nothing helps - please provide a link to your gallery.

Hi, pain

Thanks for your rply, you are correct
there was a missing default folder within the /public_html/imagevue/config directory, I just created that default folder, which seem to solve the problem.

However in the admin whenever I create a new theme ## based on a preset theme, and I decided to delete the new theme ##, a message at the top left in red says Theme ## was'nt deleted, is this a normal message or my paranoia acting up :D

regards

Tony.

No you're not in my opinion as I had the same problem before I decide to recreate my previously self-made theme from scratch instead of copying .xml files ... Not sure exactly why but now it works fine. BTW, I didn't create manually any 'default' folder or whatever in config folder ...

Did you follow the X2 theme upgrade guide here:
viewtopic.php?t=4339 ?

Does your server have safe_mode enabled?

Hi pain

Thanks for checking it out :)

Sorry but I forgot to mention that Theme ## wasn't deleted message only appears if you save the ## theme based the present theme then deleting the theme in the admin. I think this is only a small issue. But I was wondering if it was a normal message?

Regards Tony

I made five empty folders in (inimagevue/config) for the solution of this trouble.
Those folder names are abyss, bluedragon, default, firestarter, and
gardener.
