Uploading problem

21 Dec 2008, 18:12

Hello,

When I log in and after click under manager, I want to upload some pictures within clicking on the right side down to open my Explorator, NOTHING IS HAPPENING !

I use Internet Explorer, tried it with Firefox but without any success.

From an other computer it's working, also from a Mac. But from one day to the other it's now impossible on my PC.

The same downloading is working for other websites but anymore on imagevue.

Is it a Visa problem ?

Thanks for your help.

Do you mean the "Upload" button under the "manage" section?

Check what flash player version you are using, and compare it to the player version from the computers where it works. Also, what version of Imagevue are you using? Try logging into our demo admin https://www.photo.gallery/soda/imagevue/ with login guest/guest, and see if the "upload" button works for you(you won't be able to upload images to the demo though...)

This was an issue we fixed in an earlier release, which relates to the upload button stopped working with the new flash player 10.

Hello,

Thanks a lot for your advices.

So I tried yith the demo version and it worked.

But where can I see which version I have, because I don't remember when I did it.

About Flash player 10, I uninstalled it and tried to download version 9 that didn't want to come, so I downloaded the version 8. But it still does'nt work.

May be I have to restart my PC...

See you soon hoping it will work...

You can be sure it will work by updating. You know what version you have by checking the foldername in the original ZIP file. It should be something like "imagevue V2 beta YYYYMMDD".

We are releasing a new update any day now!

Thanks a lot !

I think that with your help, I'm on the right way.

Now with the Flash Player 9, it's working with Safari and Firefox.

But not yet with Internet Explorer 7 where I get this message when I want to open my website :

Even when I did it under the options and security, It still doesn't work with I-Explorer...

ok, well this is an entirely different issue than the earlier one...

This happens because javascript has been disabled for your Internet Explorer browser. You must go to options, enable javascript, and restart.
