Thumbnail Background Color

I have an idea - I think that in addition to the thumbnail background color, there should also be a thumbnail border color. The width attribute would relate to the thumbnail border while the opacity attribute would relate to either both or just (more importantly) the background color.

This would help when setting the opacity of the image to something other than 100%. For example, I wanted my border color to be a greenish tint, although my images looked horrible with the green coming through at 80% opacity.

Thoughts?

I think its futile creating an additional background/frame just for the purpose of the thumbnail in alpha mode. Then it would be better to create additional rollover effects, for example "tint" that slightly tints the thumbnail into a specific color.

But by creating this additional attribute, you're getting the "tint" option too, just with an unlimited amount of tint colors! My goal was to somehow get the thumbnail image to be black and white instead of color and which a white background I sorta did this with opacity. Just not liking the white borders...

yea, but that means we need to code in an additional frame, or square if you like behind the thumbnail. I'd prefer to create additional thumbnail hover effects directly on the thumbnail - It can be done!

Will consider this later.
