Everything was working perfectly fine with default theme, and then I wanted customize a bit my theme, so I made a copy of a default theme, and then changed a bit css, and put different background image (4KB . jpg instead of 8KB .gif, repeat y instead x). I've turned off global_shadow. Even changing new image from jpg into gif doesn't helps.

First page of gallery is loading very slowly, then its alright, other pages are loading normally, but it takes eternity to get loaded main page, why is so?

I checked your gallery, and didn't find any delays in loading. It seemed to load pretty swiftly ... Perhaps it was slow earlier when it was caching the menu ...

Perhaps someone else can try the link and give some feedback on speed?

No speed issues with your gallery for me, infact, I would say it is among one of the fastest v2 galleries that I have viewed
