autoTitling now stays on

09 Apr 2010, 23:54

I discovered that autoTitling is automatically titling my images again, even though the autoTitling checkbox is empty. I think this started after the last update (2.1.7).

autoTitling is still automatically titling my images even though the autoTitling checkbox is empty. This is after a period of working correctly. As I said above, I think this started after the last update (2.1.7).

It's in todo list, and will be processed soon.

I just installed v2.1.8 and the filename still appears by default as the image title (autoTitling is not checked).

I've just checked it again, can not confirm:

Admin:

Frontend:

Could you explain the behavior you see a little bit more? Or let me check on your server?

Sure. When I add an image to a folder (Upload File), the image arrives in the folder complete with filename inserted into the Title of the image. That fielname-title, of course, then appears with every image. So I have to delete the filename from the title of each image in a folder after uploading the images. In Settings, autoTitle is not checked.

autoTitle worked fine after it was implemented (can't remember which version) but it stopped working for me earlier this year after one of the newer versions.

If you want to check on my server, tell me what to send you to allow you to do that.

Just uploaded Imagevue X2.1.8.1 with a fix, so you can re-download it from our site.

2.1.8.1 broke the gallery. The "loading" circular image stays up forever. I reinstalled 2.1.8 and it works again. Then I installed 2.1.8.1 into folder /testgallery, where it resides now, and it has the same problem there.

I left the admin default in place if you want to have a look.

Ooops, sorry, please download again, and replace imagevue/include/ivFolder.class.php

That worked, and also autoTitle works meaning that when it's not checked, the filename is not put into the title of the image.

Thanks!
