Changes not saved

I change some setting in the config section of the admin and when I click on save, it takes me back to the cnfig page but the changes weren't saved. I CHMODED config,xml to 777 but it keeps happening.
What can it be going on?

What "config.xml" file did you chmod? In the later releases, you are only supposed to chmod the "imagevue/config/" folder.
Perhaps you have a link ...

I chmoded config.xml inside the includes folder. I chmoded the config folder an reverted the xml permission and now works fine.
