No SendMail in Full Screen?

I notice in the "Other Issues" section of the Send email article:
- Unfortunately, users can not type into textfield when in fullscreen mode because of some Flash player restriction. Gallery therefore always goes out of fullscreen mode when visitor opens the sendlink form.
Will this always be true? Is this something that can be fixed?

Thanks.

Unfortunately, we do not have any influence over this. It is fully in the hands of Adobe, and the restrictions they put into the Flash Player.

Recently, with the release of the Flash player 10, there was an improvement in fullscreen mode - It now supports the arrow keys for navigation -
Adobe wrote:Currently, Adobe Flash Player does not allow keyboard input when displaying content in full-screen mode. Flash Player 10 changes this, allowing for a limited number of keys to be usable in full-screen mode. These include Tab, the Space bar, and the (up, down, left, right) arrow keys.

However, it still does not support keys for being able to fill any forms in fullscreen mode:
Adobe wrote:Users cannot enter text in text input fields while in full-screen mode. All keyboard input and key-related ActionScript is disabled while in full-screen mode, with the exception of the keyboard shortcuts that take the viewer out of full-screen mode.

Thanks for the reply -- that's too bad.

Would it be possible for you to use 1 pixel less than full screen so fields would still work?

I'm just guessing. Thanks.

Sorry, no - that's not how it works. The fullscreen feature is a native flash player function that basically runs the SWF outside of the browser controls. It is fullscreen mode or not fullscreen mode, nothing inbetween.
