you may well be aware of this site, but I stumbled across the other day and thought I'd throw it into the mix.
They basically provide a gallery system for professional photographers not a million miles away from ImageVue. The price though can run into the $1000's depending on what you require...
However I think that the way they have implemented image management on the backend is worth taking a look at (see the demo movies):
