I want to make the Front page of the gallery look like this:

no clue where to start :S

Thats the new filemod as released in a recent update(see
updatelog).

I have a question regarding the fotoblinds effect. I found this link in the showcase:

Is it possible to get these effect with the V2 filemod to?!

The effect is from the V1 gallery, where it loaded separate images. It is not currently possible to replicate this with the photoblinds effect(which creates a blur effect from a single image), but I have it in our list over features we would like to add in the future.

Regarding the fotoblinds effect is the feature that distinguishes always been the mythical your software! ImagevueGallery, needs no advertising or link! So surely be deepened the study for the future!
