I use ftp to upload the new 20081029 update. I deleted the imagevue folder from the server then uploaded the new one.
Everything works BUT the menu, for some reason before the site is done loading it shows the menu like so (see image) then it goes away when is done loading...
Go here at test it out

I can see the problem in FF and IE.
You can see during loading of the gallery, for about 0.25 seconds.

so any idea on how to fix it?
...trust me I deleted the imagevue folder from the server rather than replacing the folder so I know it was a fresh install.
I see it both PC and Mac.
I did the 20081029 update cause I was having issues with the main menu not closing after hover outside the menu area, it wasn't hidding correctly...now I get this issue with the menu on loading...not good, that was the whole reason to update the gallery.
Any ideas are much much apreciated...
thx Imagevue team...GO TEAM!!! haha that was gay sorry...

ok issue was fixed.
I was using a swf file as a background image, why? because I was able to incorporate a logo and the swf file expanded to fit the window. I guess I have to create a image background and call it good.
I guess the way I created the background swf file gave me that issue so if you run into the same problem you know the answer.
Thx Karl for getting back to me, great team of supporters.

hmm, still not quite sure why it happened. We are using SWF background for some of the themes also, although they are not set to resize to screen.
I think if you are using a SWF background, you don't normally need to set it to "fit to screen". Just make it very big because vector files won't increase in filesize anyway. And if you want to make sure your logo is positioned correctly, just align it to top left or something where your logo is located. Now you will also be sure that your logo is the same original size also.
