Changing the name of the imagevue folder

What dependencies does the folder "imagevue" have, so if I change that folder's name the gallery could still properly function?

imagevue is the folder that contains all the scripts, graphics, theme- and configurations files. Unfortunately, you can't currently rename this folder ...
May I ask why you want to rename it? I presume it is for branding reasons when accessing the admin?

Karl,
The reason I want to rename the imagevue folder is, honestly, to prevent others from copying me. I have the commercial license and I do web design for people and I don't want them to know about my resources. I hope that this is a legitimate reason... but I'm not sure if you plan to make it possible to do so?

I think that's a good reason ...
This has been requested before, and we added it to our "list" so I hope we can provide such functionality in a later release. Ultimately, its the decision of my partner, pain.

Why are you posting that issue in this topic? This topic is about the the "imagevue" admin folder.

I am not sure I can answer that - It will not be in the forthcoming imminent 2.0 coming shortly. Most likely later this year, but hard to give an exact timeline.

We are planning this for next major release, but life taught me to not tell exact dates when it comes to developement, best bet is - somewhere in spring.
