My V2 site just turned X2

First of all, Thanks for releasing the V2. It's truly amazing, espesially for an web-amateur as myself.

I'm nearly finished with my page, except that i haven't renamed any files. Neither have I made any descriptions yet. It's in Norwegian, but hopefully you'll manage to find your way through. Keep in mind, I'm just an ambitious hobby-photographer who loves to shoot pictures. No pro-work here.

Comments and suggestions are very welcome! Be honest, please.

PS: I am inspired by the works of another great photographer who is represented in this forum.

I think your gallery looks very nice and your content is great!

Not many comments right now, but perhaps make the large control arrows slightly smaller? (I know they are that size in the theme by default, but I am thinking of changing it).

Another thing that's not your fault, but ultimately something we need to create a solution for, is custom thumbnails. Look here:

They are nice photos, but it would be nice to be able to customize thumbnails #2 and #4 so that the heads were not chopped off.

Hi,

great gallery and very nice photos !
Could you tell me please how do you do to put your logo in center of the page (in background ?) and just under the thumbnails ?
And another question, how do you do for having just one line of thumbs in your thumbnails ?

Thanks,
Anthony

Thanks

Maju-Maju: Thanks so much for your comments. I made the buttons smaller, and redesigned the menu a bit. It would be great to customize the thumbnails, like you said.

Spiritx: The logo is included in the backgroundpicture. I just sentered the text when i put it there in Photoshop. Easy to do. On line of thumbs was easy: I put the max_height of thumbnails to 200.

Regards,
Christian

I think, be better, if you edit theme style sheet:
add to .text_1_title this row: text-align: right.
After this image title don't overlap with background image.

Chrismo! Beautiful photos! Love the black and White Aikido set, used to practice and teach myself. And your style sheet makes me drool here, wish i had time to make something like this. Thanks for sharing. :)

Thanks for your kind comments. I also used to practice Aikido many years ago. But a lot of what i've learned from Aikido still lives within me.

The stylesheet took some time to finish, but I must admit I'm heavily influenced by another X2 site (John Waller Photography) shown in this forum.

Hey, that guy in the first picture of the photoshopped images looks like me. Well, apart from the bald head and the muscles :P
