The MP3 folder was hidden until I FTP'd some MP3 files into it (larger than 2MB so couldnt use the upload feature). Now it unhidden and despite setting it to be hidden from the admin, it remains in the menu. How can I hide it again?

Thanks

Damn I just noticed the same problem, when it was well hidden before.
Now when I set it to hidden, when saving folder, it appears again as unhidden...
What could be the point?

We can't recreate this bug in any way. Can anyone with this issue please post their gallery link and admin login in a private message? Thanks

FolderData.XML Write Error

Posted: 02 Oct 2008, 16:14
by temabu
When uploading, or deleting a file, the folderdata.xmls file goes from this:

<folder>

to this:

<folder> (-deleted)
<folder> (-when added)

So the problem lies when you write back folderdata.xml somewhere...All the other attributes are lost and therefore it never gets hidden...You dot notice this because you Hack title = name hides the fact that title is empty...(?)

Problems occurs from folderdata.xml writing when editing within the admin.
I manually recreate the folderdata.xml content with hidden="true" attribute, and it works then.

Still a mystery to me why it suddenly got corrupted like this...

Will there be a patch soon?
