Hi there,

is there any indication when V2 will be moved from beta to final? Are we talking weeks, months, years?

Sorry, I shouldn't be joking about that - It is a very good question.

We are currently working on an update that will restructure configuration/themes entirely. After the next update, users will be able to create theme/config customizations without loosing them after updating. This will allow us to release updates without disrupting the users gallery in any way, and therefore allow us to progress to public/final release.

So, there may be one more beta release, and then we are aiming for public release - This should be within 2 weeks into next month(October).

Because of the new config/theme structure, we will therefore be able to proceed with new features/improvements AFTER final release also.

I am watching it every day and just not developing versions right now until structure is stable.

Karl: Is there a way to make Text on Textpages as readable Text instead of grafic?

Your design is really state of the art! I love it.
I can ´t wait to implement it in my pages.

As well please don ´t forget my question (it was also asked by others), if we can implement it in existing html pages (like the private message with the link as example what i mean).
If there would be a way for that - great.

I guess you have a lot to do just to answere all these questions.
Your example for modified page for a client (annother post) was really fine, but still text is grafic = poison for search engines)
If urls are correct, but no textcontent - page won ´t be found.

I am not quite sure what you mean here - The text in textpages is TEXT, not graphic. Imagevue is a FLASH application, therefore google will not be able to read the text anyway.

in flash you can define the text as grafic or keep it as readable text.
Am I wrong informed? Not a flash specialist.

You can "break" text apart or embed the text in a graphic symbol, but it's still text. I can assure you all textfields in imagevue V2 are as pure textfields can get, stylized with CSS.

Sometimes it is possible to select a text in flash, like in the contact form.
Then you can copy it to the clipboard, etc.

Maybe they mean that?

Hello Karl,

is it possible to have some informations about next release and next beta version. I think many people like me are happy using imagevue version 2 but are still hope some new functionnalities.

We're _almost_ there. Sorry for delays guys.

We released an important update today:

Next release will be 2.0 - Does this mean it will be final? Certainly not, we have lots of features to integrate.
