Images displayed at different sizes in slideshow

I've got a number of images all 390 pixel in height at 72dpi. However in the slideshow some of them only display as 250dpi in height while others come as expected in 390. Is it me? Guess it has something to do with the image settings, but after trying all the possible combinations I haven't yet found the answer. Can anyone help?

Personally, I always found DPI vs. pixels confusing - That's why I never got involved with design for print.

All I can say, is that when displaying images in imagevue, or any other website, DPI is ignored and only PIXELS are used for the display size.

Perhaps you have a link to your gallery?

Thank you Karl, I think my problem was much simpler. When uploading images that have been there before I need to completely clear my cache, just refreshing the page doesn't seem to be enough. So I would have seen older images which would have not been the correct size. Sorry for the trouble.
I will now tackle the colours for the different text. And although most items in the admin section are self explanatry, I wish there was a screenshot with labels on which fields in the admin section they are referring to, I just cannot find the field that defines the different colours of the text in the mainmenu. But that's now a compleely different question.
Thank you for your help

Yes, well we do need to improve documentation after public release - Remember we are still in beta mode.

To edit everything related to textformatting, you need to edit the CSS stylehsheet for your theme. Goto admin -> themes -> edit your theme -> edit stylesheet. Of course, you may need some basic experience in CSS.
