Hi Karl.

In new V2 I definitely love square thumbnails.
A nasty side effect is the arbitrary crop applied that, sometimes, doesn't fullfill my needs.

This is a typical example of full image and related thumbnail:




It would be nice if I could choose a particular crop on a per-image base, especially in cases like this one, for instance dragging a square over rectangular full image to include specific details.

I think we will need to focus on more important issues first, but I wouldn't mind creating a module for this in a later release. Thanks for your valuable feedback!
