01 Sep 2008, 20:45

Gotta say, I have been waiting for V2 for a loooooong time and it is off to a great start! I've begun my implementation at www.tomfluegge.com. Any/all comments are welcome!

Hmm... Looking nice, are those custom thumbnails? And you scale down on rollover, interesting, less artifacts.

Also black borders looks very nice on thumbnails, goes along with shadows and makes everything more serious.

They are made by Imagevue you TWAT! ... and if I'm not hallucinating, you programmed the script that makes them.
(arrf ... just kiddin with ya pain)

I think your gallery looks great - One of the best customizations I have seen. Of course it compliments to have such a colorful collection of professional sports photos!

In your contact info, you have "tom dot fluegge at gmail dot com" - It is not strictly required to 'mask' your email like that when it is in flash. The spambots won't be able to pick up your email from within the SWF, as that is only possible through HTML.

Well I am so used to croptobox really... Hard to imagine there is some other methods existing in the world.

HTML or.... Imagevue HTML gallery!

?p=html

But gmail has very nice spam filter so I think its okay to display email openly even in html, atleast it's not bothering me anymore since I moved to gmail.
