One think I really would like is when I'm looking at my list of thumbnails and I click on one...is there a way that I can go BACK to thumbnail view by clicking that same category in the main menu?

I know you have that thumbnail icon at the bottom of the image but it hides and the user doesn't know how to get out but to choose a different gallery within the main menu...

I like version 1.7 where you get that "X" to close the image and send you back to thumbnail view.

ANY ONE? if you know how to fix it...you win a million dollars (jk)

This is something we are dwelling at. By default, the gallery goes back to thumbnails mode when you click the full size image(unless you have changed that setting).

We may need to include some other optional item(close button? "back" button?) to make it more intuitive for the user. Thanks for your feedback and sorry for the late reply(I answer forum in bulks inbetween releases!).

Karl your efforts are apreciated...yes I really like the close button in the older version...I just don't want the user to click another gallery if they can't find another way to go back to thumbnail view...sure I know if you click on the larger image it would go back but remember I was the one messing with the site for hours so I know that, but the user that comes for the first time might not have a clue...

Your work is AWESOME don't get me wrong.

I haven't tested the site with other users to see what they think also to know what troubles they encounter when visiting the site for the first time...I love the menu right on the top easy to find which makes it a little easier than earlier versions...
