Admin image uploading error: 4016 posts

Admin image uploading error: 401

Hello,

I am receiving an error when i try to upload images in admin tool.
When I click on "Folder upload" >> "upload files" after selecting an image i receive the following error:

Upload Error: 401

What can I do?

Did you set folder permissions?

We are working through several issues related to image uploads currently ...

That needs to be investigated. It seems like some server-specific issue, could you please provide url to admin and ftp login/password so we can check it further?

I've had a .htaccess file in a sub folder and after removing the file i was able to upload images... but now i have another problem!

After uploading images the folderdata.xml in the coresponding folder doesn't change. The image count of the folder always stays the same. What can i do? i have changed every file to CHMOD 777. SO this can't be the problem.

clear cache

ok clicking on clear cache has solved my problem!
