Scrolling thumbnails

Is there a way I can 'lift' the scrolling thumbnails off the bottom of my screen
so I have a small gap underneath.
And with the zoom facility, can I alter the percentage zoom with each click?

You can't lift the thumbnailscroller as it is aligned with bottom of the stage - You can increase the margins though for the thumbnails. I am not sure why you want to bring it higher ... It will just create less space for image.

As for the ZOOM ability, Im afraid its a little more complex than just percentage zoom for each click. Read how zoom works here: https://www.photo.gallery/v2docs/articles/scalemethods

Depending on image size and the visitors screen size, the zoom % will always be different for all visitors, so we don't want to set a static % zoom.

Theoretically speaking yes.
By changing the offset you could create a gap.
keep in mind though that if you do so you might have to change you're margins.

But like Karl said I wouldn't advice it because you're making the room for the image itself smaller.
