FIXED! - Is thumnail view broken?

31 Jul 2008, 01:54

I have my gallery setup to start on an image, but go back to thumbnails on a shift-click... the problem is that when i shift-click and go to thumbnail view, it only shows me the center image, all though the page count seems correct for what should be the amount of thumbnails.

That was an issue with old cache routine, if you downloaded update you have to click 'clear cache' in admin.

Could you show a link? Does it get fixed if you disable cache? Download today's update too. Then we'll see.

That happens when MaxTHumbSize is calculated incorrectly, but that usually happens either when folderdata.xml contain wrong information or cache routine couldnt calculate that, ie not enough permissions to access files. Not sure what you case is, but we just fixed some critical bugs, It might even require you to delete erroneous folderdatas :/

So another update came out today? KK. I'll be prepared to delete the folderdata as well.

Still doesn't work even with the new version and after deleting ALL folder data! =(

Ideas?

Seems like my folder data is still getting messed up... check out my Audio Playlist... it was fine till i changed the volume and then it went to those characters.

To install the new folder i deleted EVERYTHING but the content folder, then went through it and deleted ALL folder data... uploaded the new build, setup my permissions, set everything up, changed themes... and here we are... could changing themes still be break something? I'm going to try a fresh install now to see...

GOT IT!!! It was a bad setting in my config... In mine, MaxAmount under thumbnails was set to auto, versus the new configs being set to 0!!!

Hmm I am not sure, is it actually fixed or not?

My point was: in_array bug been corrupting folderdatas and configs, so its better to overwrite everything and delete old folderdatas if you edited anything or changed settings.

Ahh, thats easy - Edit ID3 tags! Thats seems like some erroneous mp3 you got there.

Actually after seeing this.. it wouldn't be right decision to have option like 'not use id3 tags for mp3', would it?

Try another mp3 file.

Interesting, your mp3 crashed Cog and hanged Itunes here. Could you try with some mp3 like.. music? I mean full track, not sample.

I think we are still using ID3 tags loaded by flash instead of from PHP. This shouldn't make a difference, but perhaps it does in some way or another? I will look into it later ...
