Error in Theme changing for beta V2 (20080728)

When changing themes in most recent version (20080728) and then clicking
the 'content' menu I receive the following line error:

Warning: in_array(): Wrong datatype for second argument in C:\websider\christophergrant.net\httpdocs\new\imagevue\include\ivFilepath.class.php on line 124

At which point the site won't load normally, resulting in various problems
such as thumbs not loading or sound module not loading. Attempting to
switch themes back doesn't result in a fix. I must re-upload
the site files to fix the issue.

Thoughts welcome!

Hi,

I can verify this. Got the cache cleared when first disabling and then enabling the cache again, same errors at the first try to clear the cache but it succeeded the second time.

But there is a second phenomenom to this. You can"view" a custom theme but on the moment you make it default the Maincontrols show NaN/NaN, the Mainmenu is visible but the thumbnails will not load when a folder is selected. The same efect even you change back to the default theme.

You can then again copy the original files over the setup and everything is ok and the custom theme is viewable when it's set from the url, f.ex:
http://dance-corner.net/iv2beta/index.p ... #/content/

Tested with latest Firefox and IE.

Thanks, we will look into this immediately. May I just ask, did you update all files from 20080728 including theme and configuration files?

In my case, I updated all the files.

Here is a screenshot of it on my admin page...

It breaks as soon as I change themes and then try to clear cache or anything, otherwise if I stick on the default them it SEEMS to continue to work.

Hi,

Confirmed. It works fine as long as the default theme is used. That can even be modified to whatever. But if the theme is changed all these issues come up.

Another theme can be used if it is given as a parameter in the url though.

Pain, PM if you want to test it on my site.

Just a quick update on this issue... Our research shows that all users/sites with this issue have items in the config.xml that aren't supposed to be there:
Code
<excludefilesprefixarr>Array</excludefilesprefixarr>
<allowedExtentionsArr>Array</allowedExtentionsArr>
If you want a quick fix, you can either remove those two lines in the config.xml manually, or you could re-upload the original config.xml... or perhaps even better, just wait for an update from us shortly(so error does not re-occur)!

It is clearly some incorrect data that the admin is adding somehow, and we are smoking out the rats.

The 30072008 version corrected this issue at least on my test site.

Thx for a fast correction :-)

FIXED.

This bug causes corruption of config and every xml it touches, so you have to overwrite everything in imagevue/ subdir.

Also good idea would be to delete folderdata.xml in all dirs in content (but actully that is not that critical, especially if you didnt edit descriptions lately).
