To change sorting for photos/folders i need to get inside the folder first and than change it... this is a lot of work if i have many folders/galleries... it would be very nice to have a possibility to select few folders and change sorting for this selection at one time...

i think you should also consider creating in setup/config an option to set default sorting for folders and files

We didnt came to conclusion about how to split configs, my stand is to put more options in gallery config, like language, image sorting, and leave decorative stuff in themes.

In case of language you can always switch it for current session with url parameter ?language= to display gallery in different language without editing configs.

You are right - We need to add a setting for default sorting of files and folders.
