Like many others have said - Imagevue is GREAT!

Would it be possible to add a module that marks an image as new so when visitors come they can navigate to that particular image?

Why not just create a folder "new" and manage it yourself? You can use the "copy" command to copy images to it from other folders, and when you feel images in the "new" folder are outdated, you can simply delete them.

You could then set the "new" folder as startfolder if you like. And if you want to hide that folder from the menu, you can set it as hidden.

Do want! How/where do you do this?

In admin, after selecting a folder, scroll downwards -> on right-hand side you will see a button "Hide this folder"
