About the Audioplayer

22 Jul 2008, 20:30

With use_imagefolder enabled I dont get the audioplayer to load the tracks stored in the active imagefolder.
The audioplayer only load tracks stored in path: content/mp3/
It would be nice to have it working. So the music can be related to a particular imagefolder (slideshow).
i.e popmusic for fashion shots and thai music for pictures of thailand. We won't have that mixed.

variable bit rate MP3 are not working, constant bitrate MP3 plays fine.

Songs with non western characters (thai in my case) in the filename wont play. they
are displayed in the player with the right fonts, but wont start. Renaming them solves this.
They played fine in v1.8. but the filename characters were wrong.

I'm on v2 beta 20080721
Keep on with the good work

It seems the flash player doesn't support variable bitrate - Nothing I can change from our side =(

I think that for now, we are quite strict with physical filenames so we can evade related issues in the development phase. Once things are more settled, we may loosen up restrictions.
