Hello,

As admin I cannot copy/move selected files to a selected directory. I made a clean install with update 21/7.
When I copy/move selected files, they are not placed in the selected directory, but in /content with a prefix of the choosen directory.
It doesn ´t also matter where (ftp/admin) the directories are created, the failure is the same.

Example copying to ftp-created-dir: copy /test/x.jpg to /try/ makes: tryx.jpg in base-dir: /content.

Example copying to admin-created-dir: copy /test/x.jpg to /admindir/ makes: admindirx.jpg in base-dir: /content.

All the permissions (dirs and files mentioned in V2docs) are set correct to 777. I use Internet Explorer from XP Prof SP3 all upd. Also I use the latest Adobe Flashplayer. IV2 is on a Linux host (hostmonster.com)
Is there any solution or a bug ?

By using Firefox webbrowser I have no problems anymore with uploading files (other post).
But the problem ´Admin cannot copy/move selected files to selected directory ´ still exist, also by using Firefox.
On my home webserver I have the same problem.

Do you have an explanation or a solution ?


Is there anybody else with the same problem ?

After a full install of your latest update (28/7) and setting permissions 777 right, I (admin) still cannot copy/move selected file(s) to selected directory.

When do you correct this issue ?

You are right - I looked into this, and it is copying files to the root of the content/ folder or to current folder. We will have this fixed for the next update - Thanks!
