For your convenience, I have compiled a list of changes or additions to the new V2 gallery compared to the previous V1. Some features may not be functioning properly yet, as the gallery is in beta phase.

# Unlimited menu/folder structure
# New thumbnails scheme. Thumbnails may be set at ANY size and creation style from config. Thumbnails layout may be controlled in any way from config, making it more scalable to work inside custom webpages or for example wordpress or joomla template.
# New "theme" structure - Easier create and/or deploy themes. Themes are viewed and set from admin.
# CSS(Cascading style sheet) - All texts you see are based on a stylesheet from the theme, making it easy to change or modify texts to any style. See stylesheet ex. here: https://www.photo.gallery/soda/imagevue/ ... agevue.css
# Extensive configuration, which can be edited directly from admin. Ex.:

# New audioplayer supports playlist, controls and ID3 tags, and any sorting can be set.
# Support for international characters and languages.
# New thumbnailscroller below full size image. May be configured in many ways.
# Unlimited amount of text blocks (for example display index+title above image, and description below image). Each text block may be displayed in any conceivable way around or over the image, on events static, rollover, or rollover button. Each textblock may consist of title, description, any image attribute, any custom attributes, EXIF (jpg metadata) and links.
# background image supports repeat-x-y (for example repeated gif background html-style)
# Deep-linking: Now the url in the browser page changes for each page you navigate to in the gallery. This gives the possibility to send the link(copy+paste) directly to someone by email or MSN, and they will see the same page or image as you see. Also navigate with browser previous/next buttons. This also makes links map-able from google with the help of the plain HTML version.
# Elegant fullscreen mode!
# Improved usability(user interface) for new users (based on testing and feedback)
# Contact module (not showcased yet)
