I can't be the first...

Well, all problems and issues I had with V1 are now solved (though nobody from customer service ever contacted me... grrr). But, a sample gallery is up:

I liked the old version for the fact that you could use it more as a front/home page with the name of the gallery displayed and even a menue availabe. However, I'm sure there'll be more coming. So far, so good, no problems.

This is one of the main issues I want to look into, so thanks for the feedback. We still need to integrate some form of what used to be called the "sitemenu" in v1, and also a few options for "startmodule". I have the feeling you are looking for a more substantial startpage/intro screen?

I am very interested in feedback on layout and design!

That's great to hear that you guys will work on something like the site menu function, etc. As a feedback, I really, really like that config settings can now set within the admin site. If you can offer that for all config settings, that'd be great. You show immediately what the setting is for and let the user change the settings within admin.

Re/ thumbnails. I agree with the 2nd post in this form that the enlargement doesn't look too professional. But instead of do an insta-scale up in flash, why not generate two thumbnais, big and small, within admin. They don't take much space and you'd have a much better looking enlargement. One would have to find a different effect.

Really curious as to how you guys continue this. I think you're really on the right track though. Everything I had issues with in V1 is now addressed already. I'm just hoping that you'll release changes you make as they are made in beta. Please don't let us wait months for the next update. We're all here to help you get this moving forward. If you can keep us in the loop with changes you made, that'd be wonderful.

Regards,
Christoph

We do that, check updatelog topic. For sitemenu - there are textPages now, though they work in html only for now, but that will change soon.
